Leave it to the fans of the UFC to consistently deliver better promos, highlight reels and intros for the organization than the organization creates for itself. I don’t know what the deal is, I don’t know why nu-metal continues to ring through our ears in 2013, I just know that it does, and this depresses me.
One of the best television dramas of the last twenty years was The Wire, and if you haven’t seen the Baltimore crime-drama on HBO, we suggest you go out and acquire it by any means possible. This intro is themed like The Wire’s intro, and even if you haven’t seen the show, it’s still better than the UFC intros in a lot of ways. Ugh. Nu-metal.
