Emmanuel Newton beats King Mo again, this time in a closer decision

He did it again, and Mo was shocked after the judges read the cards at 49X46 for all three of the surely moderately sane judges. It was a a close, but clearly good fight for Newton who kept Mo at bay for the most part, ate some big shots, got taken down and defended some takedowns, then laid hands and feet en masse all over Mo.

Newton was clearly the busier of the two fighters, and even though he didn’t get the finish, he still did a Gary LaPlante dance (hardcore dance) in the end. This will set Newton up against Attila Veigh, a guy he lost to by split-decision in the light heavyweight tournament finals a year or so ago in a title unification match.
