The Texas Athletic Commission had a formal complaint filed from Daniel Cormier, saying Roy Nelson’s trademark beard was somehow an advantage. Basically, Cormier didn’t like the beard, and wanted it gone in a possible Sampson-like shearing.
But now none of that matters, Nelson will keep his beard, and the powers that reside within it. The Texas AC has officially denied Cormier’s request, and Nelson will keep his fluffy facial fur.
