Natasha Wicks | MMA Ring Card Girl and Sports Enthusiast (PICS)

Natasha Wicks

Hey MMANUTS fans!!! My name is Natasha Wicks and I am your home-schooled, farm-raised in Las Vegas Nevada with 7 other siblings featured MMA Model… its an honor and a pleasure to introduce myself!

First and foremost I have always been a health and sports enthusiast and once it came time to get myself a college education, the decision was quite easy. I had put all my focus and energy into my books and racing (X-country & Track) I had a full-ride through college because of it. My choice was NAU(Northern Arizona University) home of the Lumberjacks and high elevation. Skip ahead to 2007, I was returning home after living in Hawaii for a year and thought I’d give Modeling a go! Las Vegas welcomed me with open arms and I quickly put some of the most sought after jobs on my resume’. Of those my favorites were Winning the 3rd annual Playboy Bunny search and working full time in the Playboy Club at the Palms, Tub girl at Tao'(cush job), Dancing in the top clubs, magazine ads, billboard ads, Top 2 in the Las Vegas Top Model contest two years in a row and then my big break came when I won the coveted spot on the UFC octagon girl roster.

I was the winner of the UFC/Maxim ring girl search in 2009 and I graced the Octagon for UFC100-108. After that I was quickly brought onto the BSN team as a “Girl of BSN”, had a featured spread in UFC magazine, Fight! Magazine, Ultimate MMA magazine, a featured Girl of the month/ host, part-time actress in General Hospital and I am most recently recognized for being Invicta FC’s first official Phoenix Girl(Ring Girl). Invicta is the first and only all WMMA fighting championships and is growing in popularity with every show and now with the added UFC Woman’s weight class.

Aside from MMA round card duties, modeling and dancing I am a sponsored distance runner by Ryno Running. Running and competing is my number one passion and always has been. Nothing feels better then to race and compete at top levels, knowing that your hard work got you there. Only I determine how well I do and how successful an athlete I become. I love that.

The people who have inspired me the most throughout my life were athletes and since I was a little girl, Mother Teresa. That said, I always make sure to use my “fame” for good and to help create awareness and spread love. I’ve been on two “UFC Tours for the Troops” that were both in the middle east. Some of the most amazing experiences of my life, God bless our troops!! (partially why I am in love with Shannon Ihrke). I am a spokesmodel/clothing model for It Aint Chemo, spending time with (mostly)children who are in the midst of chemotherapy. Trying to bring their interests to them while they are hospital bound. I also work with Randy Coutures G.I Foundation, hosting/participating in their annual paintball tourneys, etc.

I’ve recently joined forces with Kountermove, an online Fantasy MMA game where you can pick your fighters on that weeks fight card and win some wiggity cash!!! Of course, you’re betting against my picks so you won’t win anything, sorry I am not sorry. I also am officially an Apocalypse MMA clothing model and am thrilled to share my new website which they designed for me. Make sure you check it out!

Well that will wrap it up for me, don’t want to give you the whole cake, just a taste! You will just have to follow me on Twitter, FB, Instagram and most importantly my website to get more!! Its been rad and a real pleasure, thank you MMANuts! <3
