UFC Scores Solid Ratings For Sunday’s UFC Fight Night

The UFC has been struggling a bit when it comes to television ratings on Fox Sports 1, with many citing the network as part of the problem. It seems a bit strange, considering that NASCAR races are doing pretty well on the network, but people will believe what they want to believe. UFC has had a difficult time finding the right time and place to promote their UFC Fight Night cards on Fox Sports 1, but after this past weekend, it looks like Sunday might be a winner.

According to Dave Meltzer, this last weekend’s UFC Fight Night featuring Dan Henderson vs. Shogun Rua II saw an average of 936,000 viewers with a peak of 1.25 million during the main event. Considering how Wednesday night shows have been doing, rating-wise, Sunday nights might seem like a better fit for future UFC Fight Night events, that or Dan Henderson is a draw. It isn’t clear which one is which just yet, though. [source]
