UFC On Fox 8 Just Underwent A Ton Of Changes

The UFC’s next event is UFC On Fox 8, which takes place on July 27 in Seattle, Washington. The card is headlined by a flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga and also features Rory MacDonald vs. Jake Ellenberger. For a free show the card looks pretty good, but recently there’s just been a ton of changes to it, but I don’t necessarily think they’ve been for the worst, for the most part.

As posted about earlier, Siyar Bahadurzada is out of the fight with Robbie Lawler and was replaced by Bobby Voelker. Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub was also scrapped from the card completely.

It seemed that the fight changes kept on coming though. Bobby Green had to withdraw from his fight with Danny Castillo due to injury, and was replaced by Tim Means. Spencer Fisher also got injured and was forced out of his bout with Yves Edwards, so he was replaced by Daron Cruickshank.

Still, the replacements look to make for some fun fights.  Lawler vs. Voelker should still be pretty violent and Castillo vs. Means along with Edwards vs. Cruickshank should be fun as well.
