UFC on Fox 8 is not having a very positive day. I guess that is what happens when you treat your events which would have the most eyeballs on them like Fuel TV cards and book them with no real marquee fights. I get it, save the big ones for PPV, but it still seems like free advertising and an easy way to pull people into the UFC machine and I’m just not sure that these fights have that “it” factor.
So, another knock to the event comes today as Matt Mitrione has gotten injured and has to pull out of the fight. According to MMAFighting, due to the fact that both guys seem dead set on fighting each other, it will be rescheduled for a later UFC event.
