Bethe Correia: ‘I Will Knock Ronda (Rousey) Out in the First Round’

Undefeated Bethe Correia is looking to make her return from injury in March and wants a shot at the women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

Correia didn’t have the kindest words for Rousey in a recent interview with MMAFighting.

“I will knock Ronda out in the first round. I want her to beat Zigano fast and without injuries, so we can fight right after. I want to be the one to take her title. I will knock Ronda out in the first round, but first I’ll do her a favor and knock that mole off her face with a punch.”

Correia is 3-0 in the UFC, with her two most recent wins coming over two of Rousey’s roommates in Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke, who, along with Marina Shafir, are known as “The Four Horsewomen.”

Correia has defeated two of the three horsewomen who are currently competing in the UFC and is looking to take out the head horsewomen next.

“People know me as the horsewomen killer. I killed two already, and I will kill the number one next,” Correia said. “I’m cleared to fight in March, and I will fight whoever they want. Whoever steps inside the Octagon with me will go down. I want to be known as the greatest knockout artist in the UFC.”
