WSOF Have a Four-Man Middleweight Championship Tournament Planned

World Series of Fighting (WSoF) might have an uphill battle ahead of them to become one of the big dogs in the world of MMA promotions, but they are slowly but surely picking up their pace and planning bigger and better things. This summer we’ll see some of their plans come to fruition as they will crown a Middleweight Champion with four men vying for that spot.

It will all start at WSOF 4 in August and continue at WSOF 5 in September, with one semi-final per event, leading up to the showdown between winners at a future event in December, according to MMAFighting. The names in the hat for the tournament as Jesse Taylor, Dave Branch, Danilo Villefort and Elvis Mutapcic. It makes for a good mix of up-and-comers as well as former UFC talent in Branch and Taylor, which is what WSOF needs right now.
