World Series of Fighting 16 took place at the McClellan Conference Center in Sacramento, California. The event contained two title fights in the main and co-main events.
In the main event WSOF Welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares retained his title, finishing veteran Jon Fitch with one of his signature leg locks in the form of a kneebar in just over one minute.
As for the co-main event, Team Alpha Male’s Lance Palmer dominated WSOF Featherweight champion Rick Glenn for the better part of three rounds and finished the fight via rear-naked choke to become the organizations’ new champion
