World Series of Fighting Signs Yushin Okami

It was just a matter of time and it was between Bellator and World Series of Fighting and it looks like WSOF was able to swoop in with the better offer and walk away from the moderate lottery that was Yushin Okami with him under contract. Okami was a top Middleweight contender within the UFC for quite a while before he was unceremoniously cut for being a “gatekeeper,” with the logic being about as sound as cutting Jon Fitch.

Jon Fitch also calls World Series of Fighting his home, although in his case his last fight was a disappointing loss and not a new chapter in the road back to the UFC. Okami is expected to make his debut in early 2014.
