World Series of Fighting Inks Spanish Language Deal With Univision Deportes

MMA fans were treated to some interesting news this afternoon as World Series of Fighting, who are holding their second event this upcoming weekend, headlined by Andrei Arlovski vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson in a Heavyweight showdown. The event will air live on the NBC Sports Network starting at 9:30 PM Eastern Time, which we already knew, but their big announcement today was that they have inked a deal with Univision Deportes to air their events as well.

It is a multi-fight deal, which begins this weekend on the spanish-language sports network that can be found in the U.S. on DirecTV, DISH as well as AT&T’s U-Verse. As for the hard numbers, those are still being worked out for the time being, but we do know that you can expect World Series of Fighting 2 this weekend on the network as well as June’s World Series of Fighting 3.

We’ll keep you updated when there is more to report.
