Well, we were all just waiting for this day, weren’t we? We’ve all been waiting to see who would “win” the Rousimar Palhares lottery. World Series of Fighting originally stated that they weren’t interested in scooping up shamed ex-UFC fighter Rousimar Palhares, but time heals all wounds and I guess a few weeks was all that World Series of Fighting felt they needed before they scooped up the free agent with a penchant for trying to hurt opponents.
“Rousimar is one of the most talented athletes in mixed martial arts, and we’re excited to have him as a part of our organization,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said in a press release issued this afternoon from World Series of Fighting.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens with Rousimar Palhares in WSOF, but he sure seems lucky to have a job.
