Watch Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier Exchange Words Post-Interview

The other evening Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier appeared on SportsCenter and Daniel Cormier was stern in how he berated Jon Jones for being “fake,” and turning on his public face once the cameras were rolling. Well, now we have actual video showing just that from moments after/before (it’s unclear, I think after due to a few contextual clues) their interview. Jon Jones is indeed a different person entirely at this point. I do have to give him credit, though, Jon Jones is professional when it matters, regardless of his personality off-camera.

Daniel Cormier has been having a rough time with putting that “professional” face forward when it comes to this fight. The best part is when Cormier says that he wished he could go next door and spit in Jon Jones’s face, only for a pregnant pause before Jones says that he would “absolutely kill [him] if [he] did that.”

These guys really don’t like each other.

Cormier: I wish they would let me next door so I can spit in your f–king face.

Jones: You know I would absolutely kill you if you ever did something like that, right?

Cormier: You could never kill me.

Jones: Oh, I bet you I could.

Cormier: Then you should try, Jon. You really should try, Jon.

Jones: I will literally kill you if you spit in my face. Literally kill you.

Cormier: Let’s try that, Jon.

Jones: I’m not saying I would fight you. I said I would kill you if you do some silly sh-t like that.
