Watch the GLORY 13 Press Conference Featuring Peter Aerts in Japan

Oh man. The idea of Peter Aerts retiring in any way kind of makes me queasy, even if I know that it is for the best as he’s 43 years old. At GLORY 13 Peter Aerts will have his GLORY Japan retirement fight, kind of in the vein of his “retirement” fight against Tyrone Spong in Belgium was his BeNeLux retirement. GLORY 13 promises to hold ceremonies for the retirement of three of K-1’s biggest legends in Peter Aerts, Remy Bonjasky and Semmy Schilt.

If you’ve followed Kickboxing, you’ll understand as they hold 10 K-1 World Grand Prix Championships between them and are without a doubt the best Heavyweight Kickboxers in history. GLORY 13 will be a pretty special event, then.
