When I play sports games, sometimes I wonder how athletes who play that given sport play the game. Do they have an advantage because of their knowledge of the sport? Does it come down to who’s the better gamer? Or is it a mixture of both?
Well at the UFC 174 Fight Club Q&A we got to see Carlos Condit and Josh Thomson throw down in EA Sports UFC against one another and a couple of fans.
What I learned from watching this is that the strategy is minimal and the button mashing is used to the maximum effect by both guys, which was still pretty entertaining to watch.
And watching Josh Thomson knockout Josh Thomson…well it doesn’t get much better than that.
