Well, there goes the great Swedish Rocky story we were hoping for. Despite some good effort from the Swede coming into this fight on 3 days notice, Latifi seemed outright spent from the massive weight cut and the enormous pressure on his shoulders to fight in front of thousands of his countrymen. Ultimately he had nothing for Mousasi, who jabbed his way into bloodying the face of Latifi with ease.

He should’ve shot for the takedown more.

In the other fights on the card, Randy Couture’s son, Ryan got knocked the hell out by Ross Pearson. Matt Mitrione seemed to knock out Phil De Fries with his hip, which probably saved Meathead’s job. Then Brad Pickett and Mike Easton had an awesome fight in a weekend full of them. Conor McGregor proved his worth as the best prospect out of Ireland since… Ever. And Tor Troeng made his viking people happy with a win over TUF 17’s Adam Cella.
