UFC Fight Pass Gets a Price and More Details

Well, there we go. UFC’s upcoming digital on-demand service has a name; UFC Fight Pass. UFC Fight Pass will be launching next month, with its first live event being the UFC Fight Night in Singapore event on January 4th. The next two events are scheduled on March 1st from Macau and March 8th from London, making February a bit of a wasteland for a newly-launched product.

According to reports the UFC is aiming for one live fight card a month, which will also be available on-demand, as well as airing all of the Facebook prelims under the pay barrier that will be UFC Fight Pass. On top of that, UFC Fight Pass will have all of Zuffa’s fight libraries available for viewing on demand, from the UFC to Strikeforce, PRIDE, WEC and more. As for the pricing? The UFC chose to make it a bit more expensive than services like Netflix and Hulu, which offer premium content at under $8 a month by going the route of $9.99 a month.
