UFC Fight Night 61: Bigfoot vs. Mir Results

“Don’t bet on mixed martial arts.” Wise words of advice from current UFC middleweight and Sunday night’s FOX Sports analyst, Michael Bisping.

UFC Fight Night 61 was an underdog’s delight. Nearly every fighter that went home with a victory tonight was listed as a betting underdog.

In the main event of the evening, underdog and former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir put Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva away in the very first round via knockout. This marked Mir’s first victory inside of the octagon since December of 2011, putting an end to his four-fight losing streak.
