UFC Fight Night 47: Bader vs. Saint Preux Results

UFC Fight Night 47 took place on August 16th at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.

Although it wasn’t the most stacked UFC Fight Night card, it was a very exciting one with five of six fights on the main card ending via stoppage following a decision filled preliminary card.

In the co-main event we saw 12th ranked Lightweight Gray Maynard start strong against Ross Pearson, but Maynard’s chin would eventually give out and he would lose his third straight fight via TKO.

As for the main event, eighth ranked Light Heavyweight Ryan Bader’s impeccable wrestling proved to be too much for 10th ranked Ovince Saint Preux to handle. Bader’s relentless takedowns would secure a unanimous decision victory, marking his third straight win, snapping Saint Preux’s five-fight winning streak.
