UFC Fight Night 34 went down in Singapore this morning, here’s what happened

The two big results from UFC Fight Night 34: Saffiedine vs. Lim was the former Strikeforce welterweight champion pretty much dominating Lim into leg kick oblivion. It was a great performance by Saffiedine, but him fighting Jake Ellenberger and winning obviously would’ve been a bigger deal, but Saffiedine stil lreminded everyone who the hell he was, one year after he took the SF belt from Nate Marquardt.

So Saffiedine dominated, but he almost got caught while coasting to a finish. He knocked down Lim multiple times with leg kicks, but still couldn’t get the job done, and was almost finished with seconds remaining on the clock. Check out the replay from Zprophet:

Then, Tatsuya Kawijiri, of Pride, Dream, One FC and Strikeforce fame made his long-awaited UFC debut. It didn’t last long, and it fit into his “Killer” moniker well:
