Raquel Pennington went to war on the FOX Sports 1 prelims of UFC 181. Pennington met UFC newcomer, Ashlee Evans-Smith, who held an undefeated 3-0 record coming into the bout is most known for being the only women to defeat transgender fighter Fallon Fox.
Pennington and Evans-Smith had a solid back-and-forth going, that ultimately came to an end when Pennington secured a bulldog choke that rendered Evans-Smith unconscious just as time expired in the first round.
Pennington, however, didn’t walk away unscathed, Evans-Smith landed a big knee that left Pennington with a gruesome cut on her forehead.
