There have been rumors floating around for a while about Dan Henderson vs. Daniel Cormier being added to UFC 173 and now, thanks to the UFC, that has been confirmed. On May 24th at UFC 173 Daniel Cormier will step into the UFC octagon as a Light Heavyweight for the second time against Dan Henderson. This is a big deal for Daniel Cormier, who will be looking to enter title contention, it could also mean big things for Dan Henderson.
UFC 173 is set to be headlined by Renan Barao defending his UFC Bantamweight Championship against TJ Dillashaw. Some would say that Cormier vs. Henderson was much-needed to sell this PPV, but I guess we’ll have to see.
