UFC 167 Prelims Pull in Solid Numbers on Fox Sports 1

The UFC 167 PPV was a big deal for MMA, as it featured the UFC Welterweight Championship bout between Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks, which was finally able to draw some real attention for the UFC after a few missteps of late. Their move to Fox Sports 1 for prelims and secondary shows has created an atmosphere where less and less fans are tuning in for events, but it looks like fortunes might have changed with UFC 167’s prelims.

According to reports, UFC 167’s prelims pulled in 998,000 viewers on average, which is still less than the average that they got on Spike TV and FX, but better than we’ve seen from Fox Sports 1 so far. [link]
