Tyrone Spong is one of those guys that has taken the MMA world by storm over the past few years without actually having to do much. Spong is best known for his career as a Muay Thai fighter and Kickboxer, competing for K-1, It’s Showtime and now for GLORY, the current top Kickboxing organization in the world. His skills as a Kickboxer are legendary and fans would like nothing more than for Spong to make a huge impact on the MMA world and find himself sitting pretty in the UFC. The thing is, they are gonna have to wait a bit longer.

According to reports online, Spong and his camp are claiming that he has some issues with his visa and will not be able to make the June 14th event.

It should be noted that Spong is currently advertised to be fighting at GLORY 9 NYC on June 22nd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City in a Kickboxing bout. According to reports, Spong’s contract with GLORY currently pays him a whole lot more to compete for them, which could give some insight into what is going on with the “King of the Ring” right now.
