Most people may have played this differently, but Myles Jury kept things civil.
While undefeated Jury is ranked eight at Lightweight, he may not be the name or payday Diaz is looking for. Due to monetary disputes with the UFC, the younger Diaz brother hasn’t fought since November of 2013 where he TKO’d Gray Maynard in round one.
As for Jury, his last fight was just a few months ago at UFC 171. Jury defeated veteran Diego Sanchez handily by unanimous decision, a fight with Diaz would be the biggest of Jury’s young career and could put him right into title contention.
Jury has signed on the dotted line, now all we can do is wait for Nate Diaz.
.@NateDiaz209 I respect u a lot, BUT… I confirmed to fight you & have been waiting on you for a week. Are we getting after it or what?
