Hector Lombard may want to fight Matt Brown, but he certainly isn’t impressed by him.

Number six ranked UFC Welterweight Matt Brown is currently riding a seven fight win streak and most recently defeated Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 40 by third round TKO in a come from behind victory.

Nevertheless, Lombard doesn’t find much merit in Brown’s recent achievements due to the fact that Brown has yet to fight a former champion or anyone in the UFC’s top 10.

Lombard, who is currently ranked number seven in the UFC’s Welterweight division has gone 2-0 since dropping to Welterweight; defeating two former Strikeforce champions in Jake Shields and Nate Marquardt.

A fight between Lombard and Brown makes sense and would be one to watch.

Make it happen UFC.
