Tweet of the Day: Daniel Cormier is Coming for Jon Jones

It was just announced that Alexander Gustafsson has pulled from his bout with UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones at UFC 178  due to a torn meniscus.

Replacing Gustafsson will be former Olympic Wrestler and undefeated MMA fighter Daniel Cormier. Cormier and Jones have gone back-and-forth through social media and within the media. Both of these guys wanted this fight and it’s finally going to happen.

Following the official fight announcement Daniel Cormier took to Twitter to let Jon Jones that he plans on being the new champion after their fight.

So, will Cormier be the new UFC Light Heavyweight champion after UFC 178? Or does Jon Jones retain his belt once again?
