TJ Grant Wants Diaz or Cerrone in Return

UFC Lightweight T.J. Grant has been out of action for over a year due to a severe concussion. The last time we saw Grant in the octagon he was knocking out former title contender Gray Maynard at UFC 160. The win over Maynard marked Grant’s fifth consecutive victory.

At this time last year, Grant was very prevalent in the Lightweight title picture, but due to such a long layoff he will probably need another win or two.

Grant recently told FOX Sports that he would prefer to fight either Nate Diaz or Donald Cerrone in his return.

I would personally like to fight Nate Diaz or Donald Cerrone. I think they would be exciting fights. I like the way they come forward and they fight. It’s a competition, but it’s a fight first, and that’s what I want. But really I don’t care. It’s all about timing and some guys have fights, it’s nothing personal. I just go out there and do my job. I’m not picky. I’d bet Cerrone will probably have a fight booked in the next two days. Anybody in the top 10, it doesn’t matter.
