Surprise: TJ Dillashaw and Urijah Faber Won’t Fight Each Other

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

TJ Dillashaw shocked the world this past weekend when he was able to not only dethrone Renan Barao, but to dominate him for all five rounds before knocking him out. So, without a doubt, TJ Dillashaw is the man in the UFC’s Bantamweight division. The thing is, Urijah Faber always seems within title contention in the UFC. There’s a good chance if Faber wins his next bout he’d be right back in line for a shot at the title, but this time against champion TJ Dillashaw. Dillashaw doesn’t seem into it [source];

I don’t plan on fighting Urijah, he’s helped to get me where I am at. He is like my brother. I wouldn’t like to do that fight.

As for Faber, he doesn’t seem like he’s into it, either, says Dana White.

You know how I feel about that, I’ve said it many times, I love that fight. We’ll see, we’ll see how Urijah feels about that. In that weight class, T.J. is the champ and Urijah is obviously a top contender. We’ll see what Urijah wants to do.
