Signature Moves: Josh Thomson

Former Strikeforce Lightweight champion and third ranked UFC Lightweight Josh Thomson breaks down two of his signature moves.

First, Thomson shows us the jumping front kick he used in a Strikeforce bout against K.J. Noons. Thomson not only breaks down how to execute the move, he also details how he set the kick up with punches and push kicks to the body to create an opening.

Next, Thomson shows off the head kick that he executed in his UFC debut to finish Nate Diaz. Here, he was successfully able to set up multiple head kicks by utilizing his inside and outside leg kicks. Thomson would eventually fake a leg kick and land shin to forehead with a massive head kick, which ultimately put Diaz away.
