Sergio Pettis Got One Step Closer To The UFC Last Night

Last night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sergio Pettis, the brother of the UFC star Anthony Pettis, was back in action at RFA 8. Originally scheduled to fight Jeff Curran (Who pulled out due to an injury…to his dog, not himself), the younger Pettis brother fought late replacement Dillard Pegg.

Needless to say, Pettis didn’t need much time at all to have his way with the late replacement, as he stopped Pegg with punches just fifty-one seconds into the first round, winning via TKO. With the win, he extends his record to 8-0, having fought at both 125 and 135. Keep in mind that Sergio Pettis is just nineteen years of age.
