Rumors Point to Gina Carano Signing with Bellator

Bellator has a big announcement planned for tomorrow. One that people close to Bellator are promising will shock and entertain. What could that be? According to some rumors, Bellator has signed female fighters Marloes Coenen and Gina Carano. Yes, we aren’t making that up, the rumor going around Twitter right now is that Gina Carano, whom the UFC has been in hot pursuit of for a while now, has signed with Bellator over the UFC.

That would be huge news and a huge, huge win for Bellator. Gina Carano has been working in Hollywood for a while now and those close to her were iffy about her signing with the UFC to fight Ronda Rousey, many believing that losing to Rousey could hurt Carano’s acting career. It would make a lot more sense for her to go to Bellator — with Viacom paying big, big money — and fighting competition that would be more fitting for a woman who hasn’t stepped into a ring in years.
