It was originally scheduled to be Tarec Saffiedine vs. Robbie Lawler at UFC on Fox 8, but Tarec had to pull out due to an injury. While seeing Saffiedine make his UFC debut against the hard-hitting Robbie Lawler would be cool and all, Siyar against Robbie has all of the makings of a fight with not just the potential for fireworks, but an assurance of fireworks. Both Lawler and Bahadurzada are known to be heavy hitters with the ability to put just about anyone to sleep. I can’t imagine this being any different.
UFC on Fox 8 goes down on July 27th in Seattle, headlined by Demetrious Johnson vs. John Moraga, the addition of Siyar vs. Robbie will indeed be a good one, I’m betting, to draw in viewers.
