Rick Story Replaces Gunnar Nelson Against Mike Pyle at UFC 160

Oh the injury bug, how we have gotten to know you oh-so-well over the past few years. Almost every UFC show has fallen victim to injuries and it looks like UFC 160 will be no different as Gunnar Nelson, who was originally slated to face off against Mike Pyle, has gotten injured and was forced to pull out. According to Nelson his injury will require surgery, although he did not get into specifics about the nature of the injury or the surgery, we do know that it is his knee that is the problem.

This leaves Rick Story to step in, after his unsuccessful attempt to lure Jake Ellenberger into a rematch and help to raise his stock in the UFC once again. Stepping in on late notice will usually make Dana White happy, so this seems like the right move for Rick Story here. UFC 160 goes down on May 25th and will feature Cain Valasquez defending his UFC Heavyweight Championship against Antonio Silva. [source]
