Phil Davis vs. Vinny Magalhaes is the great fight at UFC 159 no one is talking about.

Coke vs. Pepsi. McDonalds vs. Burger King. BJJ vs. Wrestling. It all comes down to UFC 159 where perhaps the greatest jiu jitsu practioner in MMA (besides Demian Maia. Sorry, Royce Gracie) takes on one of the best wrestlers. Yep, Vinny Magalhaes vs. Phil Davis. A fight that has hosted a war of words between the two light heavyweights for the last few months and a fight that goes down at UFC 159.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: Elite wrestler vs. elite BJJ guy… Why this is going to be a stand up war!

Maybe, maybe not. We’re hoping for a grappling battle for the ages, and judging by Phil’s latest observations, maybe we will see one? You see, Phil Davis basically throws BJJ under the bus and calls wrestlign the superior art form. Maybe he’s right, maybe he’s wrong. That’s not up to us.

Your move, Vinny.
