Paulie Malignaggi Speaks Out About MMA Fighter Pay

Former IBF Light Welterweight and WBA Welterweight Champion Paulie Malignaggi gives his opinions about fighter pay in mixed martial arts.

Malignaggi states that MMA is more popular than boxing in the United States and that the fighters should be paid like it. He gives credit to the UFC and Dana White for building the popularity of MMA, but puts it simply: “you should get paid according to the way you sell, and if mixed martial arts sells more, then their fighters should get paid more.” said Malignaggi.
