Patrick Cote, Kyle Noke to coach on TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia

Well, lately there’s been a lot of word going around as to what and when the next international series of The Ultimate Fighter will be, and today the UFC revealed the news.

The next international version of The Ultimate Fighter will be called “The Ultimate Fighter Nations” and will see Canada go against Australia. The speculation of who would coach also ended today, as it was announced that Patrick Cote will coach Team Canada and Kyle Noke will coach Team Australia. The season will feature fights and fighters in the welterweight class of 170lbs. That’s the weight that Noke and Cote will be fighting at as well.

Tryouts for the show will start in September, and it’s expected that broadcasting will start in early 2014.

Both Cote and Noke have previously been on seasons of The Ultimate Fighter. Cote was featured on TUF: The Comeback while Noke was on season 11, which featured Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell as coaches.

This season will be the fourth installment of an international series of The Ultimate Fighter. So far, there have been two seasons of TUF Brazil and one season of TUF: The Smashes, between Australia and the United Kingdom.
