Nate Diaz Goes on an Awesome Rant About CM Punk

14th ranked UFC Lightweight Nate Diaz will be meeting third ranked Rafael dos Anjos in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 13, which takes place on Saturday, December 13th from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

At a pre-fight media event Diaz was asked to give his opinion about the UFC signing former WWE superstar Phil Brooks aka CM Punk. Diaz would then go on quite a tangent about the subject.

Here’s what he had to say:

“Look dude, CM Punk, it’s horrible for the sport as far as I’m concerned. Great for the sport, they’re gonna make a lot of money off of it, but I think it’s a big ole joke. I’m watching TV, I watching the fights and all of a sudden this Punk guy’s coming on with his slicked back hair and f*cking puny little f*cking virgin nose. And it’s all a big announcement, Punk gets a fight in the UFC, I don’t dig it. He’s got no fights. I know he’s a big draw, I looked him up, everyone’s gonna buy tickets and it’s great for the venue and the UFC, but at the same time it downgrades all the fighters.

And everybody’s excited about it, ‘congratulations, CM Punk, congratulations, this guy’s coming,’ but if I want to I can’t go play in the NBA, and even Stefan Struve’s big a**, he can’t go play in the NBA if he wants to, because he feels like making a change, for a publicity thing, they wouldn’t pay him no money and they wouldn’t even let him play, it’s ridiculous.

I don’t think you should just let some millionaire WWE guy just come on over and play a little game, like have fun with this career, I’m over here busting my a** and fighting for ten years, and having a serious job that I have to do, and you have this guy that’s probably gonna come over and probably get paid more than everyone in the room.

I don’t know if he’ll do well, he might, he might do great, but why does he get a chance? He’s an amateur, you’re gonna put an amateur in the pros? That makes us all amateurs, so I think it’s ridiculous. So as far as I’m concerned, f*ck him, fuck the whole situation and anybody who takes the fight is trippin’, but by all means, if you’re getting paid out, fight that motherf*cker, but everybody in the UFC, ‘oh I wanna be your first fight.’ I’m like ‘what are you even talking about? This guy don’t get to fight me, he’s an amateur, don’t even put him in here.'”
