Mirko Cro Cop Returns to MMA to Fight Aleks Emelianenko

Mirko Cro Cop has been focused on Kickboxing over the past few years, fighting Ray Sefo as well as participating in the K-1 World Grand Prix where he found his way to the Finals and took home that one elusive championship from earlier on in his career that slipped through his fingers. It was a proud moment for Cro Cop and his fans across the world to see him with a K-1 belt around his waist.

Now it looks like Cro Cop is going to return to MMA action against the brother of Fedor Emelianenko, Aleks Emelianenko. For Aleks, in only his fourth MMA bout he met a very motivated Cro Cop who proceeded to rip his head off with one of his patented high kicks. Both men are at different points in their careers right now, which could make the rematch all the more interesting for both parties.

The bout is set to go down in November on the second LEGEND Fighting show. The first event featured Aleks Emelianenko vs. Bob Sapp as well as Badr Hari vs. Zabit Samedov.
