Melvin Guillard Signs with World Series of Fighting

After his unceremonious release from the UFC, Melvin Guillard had to consider his options. It looks like the best option for Melvin Guillard turned out to be World Series of Fighting, the promotion currently vying for the #2 spot alongside Bellator at the moment. World Series of Fighting has gotten a mixture of positive and negative press of late, being credited with having fun cards while being damned for their matchmaker’s brash attitude that is upsetting some of the bigger name fighters.

Melvin Guillard is the next in line to go from a UFC contract to a World Series of Fighting contract, with there being an implication that doing well in World Series of Fighting could mean another crack at the UFC.
