UFC Fight Night on Fox Sports 1 has been a pretty interesting event thus far, with some good fights and some weird pacing that could be expected on a new network like Fox Sports 1. That’s okay, we forgive it as long as we can get more fights like Brad Pickett vs. Michael “Mayday” McDonald. Mayday came out swinging in the first round like a madman, coming close to stopping the fight on multiple occasions before he kind of ran out of gas in the first round.
The second round saw it taken to the mat, where McDonald showed some flashes of brilliance before he was able to lock in a rather impressive triangle choke, locking it in and able to force Pickett to tape deep into the second round. GIF via @ZProphetMMA.
