Mark Hunt Turns Down Possible Bout With Junior Dos Santos at UFC 160

Since Alistair Overeem pulled out of his scheduled fight against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos the MMA world has been abuzz about who will step in to replace the former K-1 World Grand Prix and Strikeforce Champion. One name in particular stood out as Mark Hunt threw his hat into the ring to fight JDS, but apparently that sentiment has not lasted very long.

Dana White, as always, is outspoken on Twitter to clear the air about rumors.

According to Ariel Helwani, he spoke with Mark Hunt about it this afternoon and Mark Hunt declined to comment. According to White from yesterday the fight between JDS and Overeem could just be moved to later on this summer, so we’ll keep you updated on the situation as it unfolds.
