If you were like us, you were probably wondering where in the hell Greg Jackson was in between rounds in the big Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson bout. It was clear that JAckson was there, but it seemed like he just sort of disappeared during the fight. Was he taking a bathroom break? Grabbing a snack?
It turns out that Jackson was ejected by officials because there were too many people in the champion’s corner in between rounds. This video has been floating around and you can hear Jackson talking about how he was ejected from the corner and can’t go back. One has to wonder if this had a substantial impact on Jones during the fight or not.
