LEGEND 2: Invasion Results

If you were out of the strange loop that is international MMA and Kickboxing you might have missed the fact that in Russia today there was a big Kickboxing and MMA event called LEGEND 2: Invasion. You know, it was the card that was supposed to house Mirko Cro Cop vs. Aleksander Emelianenko until Aleks beat up an old man at a coffee shop. Yeah, that card. Cro Cop ended up fighting a late replacement in Alexey Oleinik whose ground game was simply too much for Cro Cop.

Badr Hari fought former K-1 fighter Alexey Ignashov in a rematch from a few years ago, which saw Badr Hari pretty much dominate the fight with Ignashov not offering much of a fight, but not taking any big shots, either. I’m not sure how to really rate LEGEND 2: Invasion, except for that fact that it happened, featured some solid names, but dragged on for way too long.
