Jon Jones Wants You to Look at His Out of Shape Body

You know, we have nothing against being a few pounds overweight, or at least not looking 1,000% buff all of the time. It is entirely unrealistic to expect everyone to always look completely cut all of the time. It takes a crazy amount of dedication and time in the gym (never mind the diet!) to look like UFC fighters look when they step on the scale.

I think that we all expect them to always look that good, but the reality is that they don’t. They are human, just like we are, which means that they aren’t always going full force in their training. In fact, that is probably the way to go, as to not overtrain or just become fatigued in general with the whole thing. Jon Jones is one of those guys that when he steps on the scale, he looks pretty cut on average, but when walking around? Kind of isn’t.

The proof is in this photo that he tweeted out earlier. If anything, this kind of makes Jon Jones a bit more likable and relatable, doesn’t it? He’s a regular guy just like the rest of us, he just has a job that involves him training his ass off when the time comes. Respect.
