I feel like Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira has kind of made the rounds on numbered UFC events. We’ve known it was happening for a while and originally thought it’d be in Dallas for UFC 171, but instead it’ll be at UFC 172. UFC 172 is set to take place in the back yard of one of Jones’s brothers, Arthur Jones, in Baltimore, Maryland. Arthur Jones is a defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens making Baltimore a somewhat home for Jon Jones.
Of course, I can’t think of Baltimore without being reminded of HBO’s The Wire and look, we all know that when you come at the king, you best not miss. You best not miss, Glover Teixeira, because Jon Jones is going to be in his brother’s backyard on April 26th. [source]
