Without a doubt last night was a big night for Glover Teixeira, who was able to bring the fight to Ryan Bader and land a counter right hook that put him down before he was able to pound him out. That victory helped to secure his spot near the top of the Light Heavyweight division, almost definitely in line for a shot against Jon Jones. But Jon Jones, you see, he wasn’t all that impressed with Glover Teixeira last night.
When prompted on the Twitter machine, he gave a pretty frank appraisal of where Glover stands in the grand scheme of things and I’m not sure if I disagree with him, which is weird as I usually don’t agree with Jon Jones.
