For some MMA fans, this is the two most boring martial artists ever, competing against one another. For me, this should be a blast. I personally love Fitch’s fights, and although I’m not the biggest fan of Jake Shields, I think that this fight has every reason to be a damn fun time. How could it not be? Both men are seemingly motivated. Both, it could be argued, are in the top ten still (maybe).
This fight is either going to be awesome, or suck.
It will at least legitimize WSOF further. I just wish they could get their production values under control.
The fight goes down July 5th. There is a rumor that it may air on NBC, but I believe nothing until it’s official.
