UFC 181 takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday, December 6th. The event will be headlined by a rematch between UFC Welterweight champion Johny Hendricks and number one contender Robbie Lawler.
Hendricks and Lawler originally met for the vacant Welterweight strap back at UFC 171 in March. Hendricks would come away with the unanimous decision victory in an extremely closely fought bout.
Hendricks would walk away with a torn biceps and has been on the shelf ever since; while Lawler racked up two impressive victories over top flight competition in Jake Ellenberger and Matt Brown.
